This information is really important for those who’s planning arriving to Belarus with a private car from abroad. After the 1st of July 2013 a number of roads in Belarus are not free any more. When you see the sign TOLL ROAD it means that you may need to get a special device for your car before you drive any further. You could get the device and information on the gas stations along your way in Belarus. There is no need to pay anything if your car is registered in Belarus, Russia or Kazakhstan with a max weight less than 3500 kg. There is no need to pay for any motor bikes too. For a car registered in other countries you’d pay 0,04 EUR / 1 km. For a truck 0,08-0,12 EUR / 1 km. We would highly recommend planning your route according to this information. Keep in mind that the penalties are quite high and starts from 100 EUR every time your brake the toll road payment system.
