Every year there are many tourists coming to Minsk to celebrate the New Year holidays. That’s why it’s not easy to find appropriate accommodation at low price. Moreover it’s much cheaper to celebrate the New Year in Minsk than in Moscow and some other Russian cities, so Russian travelers are also on the list!
Having too many requests made the prices for Minsk apartments up to 2-3 times more expensive for that period. Modern 1 bedroom apartment in the city center with normal price 60-70 USD would cost over 130-150 USD. Bigger apartments with 2-3 bedrooms start from 250-300 USD / night! Moreover it’s almost impossible to find a flat for a period less than 5 days.
Look: renting a luxury apartment with 2 bedrooms for 7 nights would cost around 1700-2000 USD, but the same apartment would not be rented for less than 1500 USD even if you want to stay 2-3 days! So evidently the New Year Holidays is very expensive period in terms of accommodation.
