Belarusian Department of Tourism and tour operators even now work hard to hold the 2014 World Ice Hockey Championship on a high level. In order to attract as more tourists as possible everything is thought out to the minor detail. Security, accommodation, visa and transportation issues will be taken under control. In order to prevent fights hockey fans will have separate fan-zone not only in Minsk Arena and Chizhovka Arena, but also in hotels where they will leave.
This week we’ve got some new details about the prices during the champ.
Among the most tempting offers are:
- Cheap flight tickets.
- No visa is required if you have a ticket for a match.
- Hotels could raise the price no more than 10% (if a single room now costs $100, during the championship it would be only $110).
- Match ticket prices are supposed to be around 70 EUR. Final matches will cost approximately 250 EUR
Accommodation for the participants and guests will be enough. Besides the existing hotels that can accommodate around 5000 people, it’s planned to build a few new complexes specially for the Championship or you can easily rent a flat in Minsk at an affordable price.
In Belarusian Department of Tourism admit that the main goal of the Championship is to draw tourists’ attention to our country and show it real values and situation. "If they see how good is Belarus, get to know our culture and traditions, meet our people, feel how we tried to do everything on a high-level – they will come back home and share their real (we hope positive) emotions towards our country."
